Riding in spectacular scenery in the Loch Ness Valley
At Loch Ness riding we take experienced riders on our horses for both hacks and lessons, either privately or in small groups. I am sorry, but we do not take beginners. Riders must be competent and balanced at all paces over varied terrain. Jumping is not required. all our horses are ridden English style, not Western.
We can do day rides and trail rides of 2-5 days as well as shorter hacks of 1, 2 and 3 hours. We offer qualified specialist instruction in dressage, jumping, carriage driving, stable management and training of young horses. Endurance riding is a speciality. We hold regular competitions in all disciplines. Our horses are Arab, Gypsy Cobs, TBx and Welsh D’s.
You can bring your horse on holiday with you. We have self catering accommodation on site and we are approved by the BHS Horses Welcome Scheme. Optional guiding service.
We have an indoor school and outdoor arena, plus some XC fences. We offer spectacular off road hacking and are right on the route of the wonderful, waymarked 50-mile “Trail of the 7 Lochs” and a great network of other riding routes.
