Presenting a relaxed take on refined dining, Torrish at Ness Walk is located just moments from Inverness city centre. Set within the original drawing room, it is blazoned in traditional 19th century detailing. In addition, Torrish offers unspoiled views out to the River Ness. Here you can experience seasonally-driven social dining in one of the best restaurants in Inverness. The Torrish culinary team are sharply skilled, shaped by creativity rather than formality.
Right outside our window is the beautiful River Ness, home to a collection of salmon pools. The Torrish fly that is commonly used for salmon fishing, is an object of beauty. This provided us with the perfect inspiration behind the naming of our restaurant.
In Torrish, the team offer our à la carte menu - rich in local and seasonal produce. Or, opt to enjoy a taste of the Highlands with a tasting menu experience; a touch of culinary magic! Each plate thoughtfully reflects the beauty of the season and the character of our region.
The culinary team
Hailing from the food-obsessed region of Burgundy, Chef Gerard’s passion for gastronomy is rooted in a rich career spanning Europe’s finest kitchens. This includes a decade at the iconic Andrew Fairlie at Gleneagles. His expertise is matched only by his love for Scotland’s natural bounty. An enthusiastic wild forager, Gerard has a gift for finding inspiration in the Highlands. The likes of foraged wild garlic and Highland venison are transformed into dishes that sing of the season.
