Plodda Falls
Plodda Falls is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Highlands, but it’s still a hidden gem. A visit to Plodda Falls can easily be combined with a visit to Drumnadrochit and Glen Affric.
To get to Plodda, follow the signs for Cannich from Drumnadrochit, then follow signs for Tomich. This is quite a remote area with small roads, so take your time! For a bite to eat in the area we can recommend the lovely Coach-House Café in Tomich or the Bog Cotton Café in Cannich.
There is free parking close to the waterfall - when you arrive just follow the signposted path from the car park. There are a few walks you can take from here. The most popular is the Plodda Falls Trail.
From the car park, take the short path down to the waterfall – here you will get the best view from the wooden viewing platform – look over the edge if you dare!
