A fun family-friendly activity day, simply use your smartphone or camera to take six pictures (that’s why it’s a Photo Marathon – no running is involved!). Start at the Highland Archive Centre any time after 10 am, have a great day out and take six photos along the way, then return to the Highland Archive Centre by 4 pm to submit your images. One entry fee is for six photos, so, for example, a family of four can enter together for just £10!
You will receive a wristband and there are thirteen prizes to be won! The winning images will then be made into a calendar.
So, you’re asking, how does a photomarathon work? Once registered for this wonderful event you simply turn up at the Highland Archive Centre any time after 10am on February the 29th to sign in. Then you leave to explore the area with your friends and family to take six of your best photos (one for each of the below, set themes) on either a smartphone or camera (you can only use one photo device). Finally, return to the Highland Archive Centre by 4pm to upload your competition entries. It’s as simple as that!
