Sealladh An Loch

Sealladh an Loch is a beautifully appointed, purpose-built holiday home on the south shore of Loch Ness. The peace, tranquility and ambience of the setting cannot be described – it has to be experienced, along with views of Loch Ness, the mountains and the forests. There are several local woodland walks around the house, with wildlife including deer, red squirrels and pine martens. The village of Foyers is within easy reach, with a village shop & post office, a pub, a tea room, and the famous ‘Falls of Foyers.’

The focus of the house is on light and space. All rooms on the ground floor lead off the central hall, with its vaulted ceiling and chandelier, glazed walls and double staircase. The house has been designed to accommodate groups or an extended family and has various communal areas – a large kitchen/diner, sun-room, cosy snug/TV room with wood burning stove & 5.1 point cinema surround sound system, and a glazed first floor gallery with views of the loch. The hub of the house is the central hall, with a full size snooker table.
It sleeps up to 12 adults in 3 double and 3 twin bedrooms. One of the twin rooms is on the ground floor with an en-suite shower room to accommodate elderly or less mobile guests. In addition, a cot is available for very young guests.

Outside space is provided by a first floor balcony accessed from the gallery, a front deck accessed from the snooker hall, and a large patio at the rear for barbecues. The gardens are kept as natural as possible, with a path up to a viewing point and bench at the rear of the property.
You will receive a very warm welcome at Sealladh an Loch, including scones supplied by the local tea room, and home-made jam.

“Wow!! I don’t know where to begin! An amazing house with excellent features, and set in the most beautiful location I have ever been. Well worth the 12 hour drive! 2nd time I have been in a year, and already, I can’t wait to go back. Gorgeous rainfall showers in the en-suite spacious bedrooms, boiling water on tap meant no need to wait for a boiling kettle, tea and coffee’s all round!!! Snooker table ready to play, with the amazing views over Loch Ness from the decked patio. The pub in Dores is a must to visit! And definitely get your shopping ordered from Tesco Online! Very Handy!! Thank you for an unforgettable holiday.” Testimonial from David Thorne, May 2014.
