Forest Glen Holiday Park

It is situated by the Great Glen Way / Loch Ness 360 on one side and looks down to the Moriston river on the other, less than half a mile walk from Loch Ness.

It has an on site laundrette and children’s play area.

An ideal location for touring the Highlands with Fort Augustus, Drumnadrochit, Urquhart Castle, Glen Affric, Eilean Donan Castle, Isle of Skye, Fort William and Inverness a short drive away. Invermoriston village facilities a short 5 minute walk across the old Thomas Telford bridge built in 1813, with views of the old summerhouse and the falls of Invermoriston. There is also St Columba’s Well to see in Invermoriston. This ancient well was blessed by St Columba on his travels to visit King Brude near Inverness in AD 565.

Here at Invermoriston is the Glenmoriston hotel that has a bar / restaurant, village shop, Glen Rowan cafe, a clog and craft shop. Walkers and mountain bikers have many forestry trails to explore, with far reaching views. It is also a haven for wildlife with red squirrels, pine marten, golden eagle, osprey, water vole, otters and more common wildlife such as the red deer often seen around the park.
