Free parking is available within the Castle grounds for 200 cars and 10 coaches. Coaches may drop passengers at the Castle entrance before returning to the car park. Tours of Dunrobin Castle are self guided. This allows visitors to spend as much time as they would like in each room. The Castle Guides in the main rooms would be delighted to answer your questions. The Dunrobin Castle guide book is written in the order of the tour and is available in English, French, German and Italian.
The Castle Tea Room offers light meals, snacks and hot and cold refreshments. Private lunches by prior arrangement. Group rates only apply when all the tickets are bought by one person. The Castle Gift Shop stocks a wide range of gifts, books and souvenirs, many based on the Dunrobin Castle collections. Usual facilities are provided. Photography, smoking and dogs (excepting guide dogs) are not permitted inside the Castle.
A visit to Dunrobin Castle now includes birds of prey flying demonstrations at 11.30am, and 2.00pm on the Castle lawn.
