ACCOMMODATION Sealladh An Loch

Sealladh An Loch

Next to Boleskine House & overlooking Loch Ness, we offer luxury accommodation for 12 adults

Sealladh An Loch

Sealladh an Loch is located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, right next door to the historic and infamous Boleskine House. In a conservation area, surrounded by fields, forests and mountains and overlooking the iconic Loch Ness, it offers pure peace and tranquility.

The house is built into the side of the mountain, with a huge glazed frontage looking onto Loch Ness and its backdrop of mountains. It is surrounded by pasture in which sheep are often grazing, and there are forests on all sides. It feels wonderfully rural, and yet the village of Foyers is within easy reach, with a village shop, post office and cafe, a pub and the famous 'Falls of Foyers.'

There are several local way-marked woodland walks around the house, with wildlife including deer, red squirrels and pine martens. You can reach the shores of Loch Ness by walking down through the forest across the road.

With an impressive glazed frontage, the focus of the house is on light and space, with several communal spaces offering flexibility for guests.

The decor is simple, with carefully selected accessories to add touches of luxury and to give it a Scottish feel - Egyptian cotton bedding, fluffy towels, 'Harris Tweed' curtains & throws, rugs & cushions from 'Skyeskyns,' whisky-barrel furniture from 'Darach' and complimentary hand soap from the 'Highland Soaps.'

Broadband internet is available throughout the house free of charge.

Communal spaces include a snooker hall, which is the hub of the house, a fully equipped kitchen-diner, a sun room, a snug with a log-burning stove & smart TV,  and a magnificent galleried landing.

It sleeps up to 12 adults in 3 double en-suite bedrooms and 3 twin bedrooms. One of the twin rooms is on the ground floor with an en-suite shower room to accommodate elderly or less mobile guests. In addition, a cot is available for very young guests.

Outside space is provided by a first floor balcony accessed from the gallery, a front deck accessed from the snooker hall, and a large patio at the rear for barbecues. The gardens are kept as natural as possible, with a path up to a viewing point and bench at the rear of the property.

You will receive a very warm welcome at Sealladh an Loch, including a welcome pack including homemade cake.
