Located on the Great Glen Way in the tiny unspoiled village of Invermoriston on the banks of the River Moriston, we are close to the much-photographed old stone footbridge and waterfalls, a short stroll from beautiful Loch Ness and 7 miles from Fort Augustus for cruises on Loch Ness.

Lann Dearg Studios is a lovely, modern property containing three self contained Studio Apartment.

Each self-catering studio accommodates 2 adults, in one of 3 configurations: twin, super king or king size double (in our superior studio). Our Studio Apartments are ideal for couples or friends who want to relax and unwind in beautiful surroundings with scenic walks on their doorstep.   An added bonus is the wide selection of birds that congregate to use our feeders, our resident playful, mischievous, cute red squirrels, pine martens and badgers that visit us nightly.

Each studio has a fully equipped kitchen, from 2026 we will be offering a breakfast box as an option to order on arrival. This is ideal for walkers who dont wish to carry all their food. There is also Glen Rowan cafe in the village which has wonderful homemade food and cakes and well stocked village community shop . 

Free Wifi is available in all the studios.   

The studios are located in Invermoriston which is an ideal base for exploring the Loch Ness, Great Glen area, we are only an hour away from Fort William, Inverness and Skye and surrounded by excellent hiking trails.
