Inverness city centre is a short 10 minute walk over the River Ness across the Greig Street suspension bridge.

In the city you will find many privately owned pubs and restaurants of a very high standard. There are also a number of great chain restaurants similarly of great standard.

There are numerous visitor attractions with in 20 minutes of the city centre and even more if you wish to explore the Highlands and have day trips in different directions going :-

North one day and taking in the Black Isle, Tain, Dornoch, Dunrobin Castle, Latheron Harbour and the waligoe steps all the way up to John O'Groats in the far north, Dunnet head and the Rock Rose gin distillery.

South taking in Loch Ness via Urquhart castle to Fort Augustus and around the Loch to the Falls of Foyers, Whitebridge and some amazing views.

East to Nairn via Culloden Battlefield, Clava cairns, Cawdor castle and Rait castle. Beaches at Nairn and on through to Elgin and the beautiful cathedral and motor museum.

West to the misty Isle of Skye, Portree, Dunvegan castle, Talisker distillery, the Fairy Pools and many more gorgeous places.

North west to Ullapool, Assynt Castle, Lochinver and cape wrath with some of the most stunning scenery in the Highlands.
