Gask House and its Farm Cottages is an impressive steading conversion with two, semi-detached cottages set around a pretty courtyard garden. The farm is home to sheep, hens, the occasional family of ducks and the house Labradors.
Within the twenty-acre grounds is the 4,000-year-old Gask ring-cairn with its impressive standing stone. The Cottages are named after similar Clava type cairns in the local area, of which Gask is one.
The Cottages offer a contemporary take on highland hospitality and come with a high standard of equipment including underfloor heating, wood burning stove, bedlinen and towels provided, a fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, free Wi-Fi, DAB Radio/Bluetooth player, flat screen TV with Blu-ray/DVD Player, hairdryer and welcome essentials. Outside each property is a dedicated terrace area with seating.
Clava (sleeps 2) and Corrimony (sleeps 4) are on a single level from the car park area and are suitable for any less mobile visitors. Pets are welcome in both these cottages at a small additional charge. The cottages benefit from wonderful open views along Strathnairn and out to the Monadhliath mountains beyond.
“Luxurious self-catering”, “Wonderful break” and “No corners cut!”. That’s how our guests describe their stays at Gask House Farm Cottages.
