Set near Reelig Glen's forest trails, our waterside lodges make a perfect retreat and touring base

Moniack Lodges

Escape to the Scottish Highland countryside - near to Beauly village, Inverness city and world-famous Loch Ness - to a comfortable cedar, self-catering holiday lodge. Laze out on the deck, snooze to the sound of the gently flowing Moniack Burn or toast your feet in front of a wood-buring stove - recharge in nature, reconnect with people you love and rediscover a passion for life unplanned.

About

Smithywood Lodge is for two - open plan with a fabulous queensize bed, ample modern, comfy furniture, a decking area and a woodburing stove - wonderful for all year round breaks.

Affleck Lodge sleeps up to four and is perfect for a family or friends travelling together - two-bedroomed and well-equipped, ideal as a base for touring.

Where in the World is Moniack?

We're situated in a gem of a Highland glen, just off the start of the North Coast 500 touring route. Our lodges are just four miles from the lovely Highland village of Beauly, with cafés, gift shops, an historic priory, river walks and shopping for provisions. Turn off here to visit spectacular Glen Affric wilderness, forests and walks. Inverness city is eight miles away - for larger shops and cafés and restaurants - visit Inverness castle, the river Ness and Ness Islands walks and head to the start of the Great Glen and Loch Ness for monster hunting, more castles, lochs, forests and mountians.

Your Hosts

Moniack Lodges is a small, friendly, family-run business - your hosts, Antonia and Richard, live a short distance away so are on hand to give a warm welcome and to share information about their favourite activities, picnic spots and walks, etc., when needed.
