Allt Na Criche

The circular walk at Allt Na Criche near Fort Augustus offers walkers challenging climbs, peaceful waterfalls and amazing Loch Ness views!

Parking is available at the Forestry and Land Scotland car park on the A82 between Invermoriston and Fort Augustus. 

From here a circular route takes you past lovely waterfalls and up to the Great Glen Way high route. From the viewpoints here you can enjoy fantastic views of Loch Ness, Fort Augustus and the Great Glen!

Keep an eye out for wildlife along the trail, such as red squirrels and deer.

The route then loops around until you meet up with the Great Glen Way low route, which you follow back to the car park. The overall distance of this circular trail is 3 km.

Refreshments and toilets are available in nearby Fort Augustus.
