Support Services

As the first Tourism BID (Business Improvement District) in the UK we are here to help you research, plan and operate your event.

We know that your time is limited and as such with our extensive local knowledge and service suppliers as our members we are committed to supporting you as needed, saving you valuable time and ensuring that you have everything you need.

And the great thing is that our services are free!

Select any of the below for further information.

Venue finding

Be it for a meeting for 20, an incentive for 50 or a conference for 800, we will provide a proposal with suitable and available venues with negotiated rates so you can select the ideal venue for your event.

Familiarisation trips

Look out for invitations to our regular familiarisation trips. In addition we can arrange and accompany you on your own trip to view the great venues, accommodation and activities that the area offers.

Accommodation booking

We will find the accommodation that fits your request at the most competitive rates. If required we can set up and manage a secure online booking system for your delegates.

Social programmes

Cocktail parties while cruising on Loch Ness, your own Highland Games, tee times at Championship golf courses or a Gala Dinner at a castle. Whatever your needs, our team can suggest a range of unique and memorable experiences.

Supplier contacts

In the Inverness Loch Ness Tourism BID, our suppliers are our members. Whatever you need from catering to cruises, from dancers to drivers or from tours to translation we can connect you with the best local suppliers.

Bid creation

Our experienced team can put together a full bid or destination presentation on your behalf. A full range of images and area videos are also available to you to enhance your proposals. Contact us for further information.

Local knowledge and information

Whatever it is you or your guests need to know we are here to help. How to get here, what to bring, hospital and medical services, best walking and running routes or where to go or what to do pre or post your event. Free local area maps are also available to all delegates.

Ambassador programme

A high proportion of all the Associations conferences come as a direct result of an invitation from a local member of an organisation or professional body. VisitScotland’s Business Tourism Unit has established an Ambassador Programme serving the regions of Scotland. Visit http://www.conventionscotland.com/ambassadorprog for more information.

Financial support

Your event may be suitable for financial support through the Scotland Conference Bid Fund or through local City Funding and for some events a Free Civic Drinks Reception at the historic Town House can be offered. Contact us for further information.
